March Newsletter

March is finally here and it's time to start thinking about our gardens and getting together with our Gardening Friends! The executive committee met in February and have a nice program lined up for us this year.

We are moving back to the Pulaski Wesleyan Church on Route 11 this year and meetings will begin at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted. (There are a few meetings scheduled to take place at other locations so be sure to check your newsletter.)

March Meeting

We will start out the year with a business meeting at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church on March 18th at 7:00 PM. Dues are still just $10 and due at the first meeting, no later than the April meeting.

Lorice will fill you in on the plans for the year. There will be several sign up sheets for so please bring your calendar and plan to sign up for as many things as you can - many hands make for light work! Everyone is asked to take a turn providing refreshments and there will also be sign up sheets for the Plant Sale, Garden Tour and Oswego County Fair.

Mailing the newsletter to all our members has once again become cost prohibitive so we are asking that everyone with online access get their newsletter here, either by email subscription or by simply checking the website. If you wish to sign up to receive the newsletter via email simply enter your email address into the box on the right hand side of the page and follow the directions. You will then receive an email with a link that you must click on in order to confirm your subscription. If you encounter any problems please contact me.

The pictures used today were all taken on Buffalo Garden Walk last year. Wouldn't it be nice to have pictures from our meetings and gardens? We are also looking to update the club scrapbook so if you have pictures to share or are willing to volunteer as a club photographer please let Lorice know at the meeting.

Planning Ahead

In April we will be meeting at Three Mums Greenhouses and Garden Center for a tour and business meeting.

You can find a tentative calendar for 2009 here.
