April Brunch
Many thanks to all who made the "Gathering of Garden Clubs" brunch a huge success!! Phoenix Garden Club and Oswego Garden Club members were just delighted, and expressed a very heartfelt thank you for the wonderful time they had. I'm sure we all have a new appreciation for the honeybee after listening to our speaker Tom Basciani.
Dues are due!
Just $10.00 a year to join a club that promotes the love of gardening through educational programs, shared knowledge, and friendship is a real bargain. In order to have a complete and accurate membership list for everyone and to continue to receive the newsletter, dues need to be paid by June 1st. Dues can be paid at the May 1st "Green Jeans" clean-up day, or at the Plant Sale on May 15th, or mailed to Herta Wilson at 35 Grove St., Adams, NY 13605.
Welcome!
Our Club would like to welcome four new members, Linda Basciani, Wanda Richardson, Bernadette Fernan, and Reid Eickhoff.

"Gardening Friends" Annual Plant Sale
Saturday, May 15th in the South Park
Set-up & work 9am-12pm or work & clean-up 12pm-3pm
Volunteers are needed for both shifts.
Our club has held this popular fundraiser for the public to buy healthy, hardy plants at a reasonable price for many years. Please bring your labled plants...any plant will do! Don't dismiss your patch of Ajuga, Beebalm or other common plant. There will always be one customer who absolutely loves them!!
Oswego County Fair
A big thank you to Debbie & Dave Ward who have agreed to head up the Oswego County Fair 8ft. x 8ft. garden design booth entitled "Cabin in the Woods". They are looking to the club for ideas and volunteers. If you can help in either way, please let them know...thanks!
2011 Garden Tour
Another thank you goes to Marci Groman, who has agreed to head up a Garden Tour Selection Committee. She is looking for 2-3 members to help her, so if this sounds like the job for you, give her a call. In order to have a garden tour next year, the committee needs to view the prospective gardens this year. For a successful tour, the club needs to offer new, unseen gardens. If anyone knows of a garden in the area that may be considered, please get a hold of Marci.
