October Newsletter

September Recap

Before the actual meeting there was a very successful plant swap with a nice variety of of plants. Thanks to Susan Monson and Herta Wilson for overseeing the swap!

The meeting began with a digital presentation of plant pictures and past activities of the Gardening Friends Club created by Sue Yard. Although Sue could not attend we enjoyed her lovely digital presentation of our gardens. The presentation was created with PhotoStory and you can find the basic instructions here. If you have questions call Nancy Dailey and she will get in touch with Sue Yard.

It was decided by a show of hands that we will do Books 'n Blooms again next year, but will try an earlier month, either June or July.

Thanks go to Herta for researching tables for the club. We are still looking for a storage site for the tables and future tents. We would like to have all club stuff stored in one place.

We are still looking for suggestions for a charity or charities to donate to for Christmas.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday October 21 at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church at 6:00 PM. We will have a harvest pot luck dinner; please bring a dish to pass.
